  1. Matt, for your own good, I gotta agree with Chris and have to tell you to re-read JLA/Avengers. There was tons of creativity and thought put into it. It’s not just the fanservice train I think people remember it to be.

    The Batman and Captain America fake-out fight and team-up? The famous Punisher scene that was both beautifully-sequenced and unexpectedly hilarious? The clever ways some heroes figured out to deal with others? The idea of the heroes choosing to “save” continuity, even though it was full of the awful tragedy and pain that had plagued superhero comics, simply because it was the “right” universe, and thus they realized it would be the right thing to do?

    And that’s just scratching the surface.
